Software Technical Support
QualityLogic offers 90 days of free software technical support with each of
our testing products, and offers optional one and two year software support
contracts. Technical support is available on an hourly basis, as well, and
can be purchased in this manner throughout the life of a product. If you would
like to purchase consulting to assist with results analysis, we also offer a one
year option for analysis of up to 10 different test runs performed with a
specific product.
90-Day Software Support – Starting on the day of shipment, you are
eligible for full tech support and limited assistance with results analysis to
explain how the product arrived at its result and what that result means in
terms of the operation of the test target. This is included in the purchase
price of the product, and this support ceases at the end of the 90-day
period.
Annual Software Support Contracts – You may purchase the same service
that was provided with the product for an additional one or two years once the
90-day support term has expired. A one-year contract costs $1500 and two years
costs $2500.

Results Analysis Assistance – If you would like consultation on the
analysis of test results from a given QualityLogic product, we offer a pre-paid
option for engineering analysis of up to 10 different test runs. A test run is a
collection of up to 50 test case executions presented as a single collection for
analysis. This service is available for $2000 per product installation per year.
The contract expires at the end of one year whether all 10 test runs were used
or not.
Hourly Support – You may elect to purchase tech support on an hourly
basis. This support offering covers all aspects of product use and results
analysis, effectively combining all the services described above. It is
available for $100 per hour by presenting a credit card number to QualityLogic
that will be billed for the hours used not to exceed the limit you approve.
To extend the 90-day support availability, you should purchase a one- or
two-year support contract. If you are mainly interested in assistance with
results analysis, especially concerning the more obscure aspects of T.30, you
should purchase the results analysis assistance. The hourly support offering is
mainly intended to cover a pressing need for support if your 90-day support
period has expired and you do not have an extended contract. While it may also
be used for results analysis, the cost involved could quickly exceed the cost of
a one year results analysis contract.

The service contracts provide phone and e-mail access to QualityLogic’s
customer support department for product issues.
Hardware Extended Warranty
QualityLogic provides a one-year parts and labor warranty on all hardware
components provided with its test tool products. This warranty provides that we
will repair or replace, at our option, a damaged or defective hardware component
that fails to conform to its design specifications for a period of one year
after its shipment. An extended hardware warranty may be purchased for $2,000
that extends this service period for an additional year..
